I have been suffering with acute hives since January this year. I was scratching constantly day and night, every night my sleep was interrupted and my bedsheets and shirts were all covered in blood from the extreme irritation. My personality had changed from being a fun loving happy person to being constantly bad tempered and hard to live with.
A skin specialist told me that he did not know what caused it and that it would probably go away itself sometime and prescribed me some expensive and scary drugs to try and control it in the meantime. At one point I was taking 16 pills a day and still the relief was only partial. God knows what it was doing to my liver!
I chanced upon the Gesret method, and had a treatment from Karl Richard. Within 24 hours, the symptoms had completely cleared and I enjoyed a couple of weeks almost complete relief from itching. I had a second treatment 2 weeks ago and so far have been itch free. I look forward to completing the course of treatment to - hopefully - permanently eradicate this condition.
My quality of life is now restored, and my temperament and deameanour have changed back so that I am the real "happy" me again - rather than the irritable and irascible person I had become after 7 months of constant severe itching.
I thoroughly recommend Karl and the Gesret method for anyone who suffers from uticaria / hives.

Thank you for sharing your story in the forum. This is yet another positive testimonial as to the benefit of the Gesret Method.

This is a good example of an instance in a which symptoms have completely disappeared following the first session, however, as symptoms could always reappear, it is important to continue with the treatments in order to have continued success.

Hopefully you have found the Method to be less scary and less expensive than other specialists have been able to provide. Not to mention, with less negative effects on your body.

I am also pleased to hear that you have returned to your happy self.
