Treatment for my almost 3 year old son

Due to non compliance with the ethical principles that apply to all practitioners trained in Gesret method®, Mr. Karl RICHARD is no longer part of our network and is no longer entitled to practice the method.

Good afternoon,
Let me explain to you what brings me to this forum. My son started to have breathing issues since he was 4 months old. It got worse until the age of 18 months and is still the same today. Every (even little) cold ends in an asthma crisis with sometimes hospitalization. All allergy tests are negative. Since 2 years he has daily inhalers with Flixotide and now Pulmicourt plus Singulair tablets and Ventolin with Celestene with every crisis ( in winter every 2 weeks).
Last summer we went to Austria to the mountains and it was the first time w/o a crisis for over 6weeks. However the autumn came and so the colds. So I desperately looked for an alternative treatment after the pediatric clearly told us he does not know what else to do and th specialists keep subscribing more and stronger medication, which does not seem to help.
Hence I found to this webpage about 2 months ago after hours of surfing. My husband was very hesitant to agree to the treatment, however, after 2 more crisis (with sleepless nights) he agreed and I already set up an appointment with Karl.
Last week we went to see him and it went very well. My son had fun even and seemed to feel better and was in good spirits for the days to come.
Unfortunately, another bad cold got him again today and he is down with another crisis, but we are having more treatments scheduled as I think the theory of the Gesret methodology makes sense and i am confident that he will eventually get better.

I will write updates in due time.
Karin

Hi Karin

First of all, thank you for your confidence but do not expect a miracle just in the end of the first session that is seldom the case for that you must wait at least the second session. :-) Anyway it seems to be a good start already. You know, it is nevertheless necessary to let time for the body to recover from years of unbalance. It is his own body which will do the repairs, not the therapist who gave the impulse. Trust us, the results will be at the rendezvous.

If every (even little) cold ends in an asthma crisis with sometimes hospitalization, the structure (should be) is one part of the problem, superinfection the other.

But unstructured (unbalanced) children catch anything that comes and their immune system cannot cope, especially if ones artificially stops his fever - vital to the immune system - and replaces it with antibiotics. Also failure to do most diseases known as "infantile", no longer allows the immune system to be built.

Coughing is necessary to expel the mucous. The presence of bacteria consistently increases the mucous production that will product more coughing. Cough gives violent impulses on the ribs and the cervical musculature is attached to the first 5 thoracic segments. Due to the break up (unstructured) of the chest, there are muscular asymmetries that affect muscles all the way to the first cervical. This leads to compressions of the glossopharyngeal nerve that can cause a laryngospasm.

As promised I update the forum with the news of my son's development. After the 1st session he had a very bad crisis again and it took 2 weeks to get him over that one.

Since then he had 2 more treatments from Karl and did not have a severe crisis again, only 1 very small one.
It is a relief for the entire family that the attacks are no longer every 2 weeks and that he can actually have a cold without any asthma symptoms! This is the first time in 3years!

We still continue all his medication, but as soon as the winter is over we will fade it out in hope he will not need it anymore.
In case he should have a crisis again we would see Karl again to 'refresh' the treatment.

I am still surprised that this is not known further and that I only found out by coincidence it existed.

Hello Karin,

Thank you so much for writing again on the forum. I am very pleased that with continuation of the sessions your son has continued to improve. It is a great relief to know that his crisis situations have diminished. As I had mentioned before, it is often with more than one session that we begin to see clear results and improvement.

Please keep us updated on his progress.

Regards,

Karl-Frédéric RICHARD
